I think if the avs really want to build a great team, be open to trading mckinnen, landeskog, or duchene. The return would go a lot further then what ror will bring. How about mckinnen for bogosian and petan.

Or if leafs want to try Franson and bozak for Ror and iginla or take out iginla and throw in a plug avs get 2 second round if Franson don't sign or do Phaneuf for Ror and leafs eat 1.5 mill a year or go crazy and do Kessel for McKinnon and plug for cap
That way you run Landeskog with OReilly and Kessel with Duchene

O'Reilly is a good LW'er and a really good second line center. Avs need defensive help in the worst way, with MacKinnon and Duchene as your top two centers, that position is strong for years to come, which is extremely important, so trading for a good young Dman makes them that much better moving forward.
